Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin has agreed to sit down with ABC's Charles Gibson later this week for her first television interview since John McCain chose her as his running mate more than a week ago.
Palin will sit down for multiple interviews with Gibson in Alaska over two days, most likely Thursday and Friday, said McCain adviser Mark Salter.
The interview with Palin was confirmed Friday, ABC News spokesman Jeffrey Schneider said.
Congrats to ABC.
He had better NOT softball her!
....or what?
Or ABC will lose all credibility as a news source.
No they won't. Fact is no matter what questions are asked some will think they were to hard, other will think they were to soft. Some people will think some questions shouldn't have been asked, some will think some questions should be asked that were not. Whatever they do they are going to get slammed by some and praised by others and it will have no effect on them whatsoever.
If, as many are saying, they agreed to pre-conditions on which questions will be asked, then it's not a credible news interview and their credibility itself goes out the window.
